Broader analytical validation. Greater confidence.

With the power of MAESTRO technology, the next-generation Oncodetect test can:
Target
Identify thousands of patient-specific tumor variants
Track
Scan thousands of tumor-specific mutations
Enrich
Enrich tumor variants by removing normal variants
Detect
Uncover low traces of ctDNA in the blood
Clinical validation studies
PARTNER is Abbott Cancer Diagnostics’ first MRD clinical study of triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) patients using the next-generation Oncodetect test powered by MAESTRO.
- The next-generation Oncodetect test demonstrated an approximately 3x stronger relationship with distant recurrence for distant recurrence-free interval and post-surgery ctDNA compared to the first-generation test.
- The next generation Oncodetect test detected more samples at ultra-low ctDNA concentrations (10 ppm) relative to the first-generation test.
MRD analysis following curative intent treatment in patients with locally advanced esophageal cancer utilizing MAESTRO technology via the Oncodetect test, an ultrasensitive ctDNA assay.
- Large percent of ctDNA-positive samples were in the ultrasensitive range (<100 ppm).
7 - Postoperative MRD was detected in 64% of patients who subsequently experienced recurrence.
- With serial testing, next-generation Oncodetect test detected ctDNA in 100% of patients who ultimately experienced recurrence.
As it pertains to the first-generation Oncodetect test, the B-59 study represents one of the largest clinical validations of a bespoke MRD assay using prospectively collected serial blood samples from patients with stage II–III TNBC.
- The first-generation Oncodetect test demonstrated robust baseline ctDNA detection rate and significant prognostic value following surgery in early-stage TNBC patients.
* - Detectable ctDNA after neoadjuvant therapy was associated with failure to achieve pathologic complete response (pCR).
- Among patients with negative ctDNA results following surgery, 95% were free of metastatic disease at 3 years.
- Post-surgical ctDNA positivity was associated with 30x higher risk of distant recurrence or breast cancer-specific death.
Next-generation MRD detection that works with the way you work
The next-generation Oncodetect test fits effortlessly into your workflow.
Supports multiple tests
Abbott Cancer Diagnostics can use a single tissue block to run both comprehensive genomic profiling and MRD testing.
Requires half the tissue
The Oncodetect test requires half the tissue compared to the most-used MRD test.
